Teamwork
Within the scope of this research project, we deal with the question to what extent heterogeneity of team members is influencing team performance and in particular, which types of heterogeneity have an impact on team performance.
Therefore, different causes of heterogeneity such as temporary versus permanent group membership, different time preferences but also classical heterogeneity dimensions such as age diversity are considered.
The aim of the study is to identify factors besides classical diversity studies that lead to well or poorly functioning working groups.
