In the Faculty of Economic Sciences - Department Business Information / Chair of Business Information & Operations Research - two positions are available as of the earliest possible date as
Research Assistant/ Research associate (pay group 13 TV-L)
At 100 % of the regular working time for a period of three years. The positions at hand are qualification positions as mandated by the "Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz" (WissZeitVG), which allows the acquisition of scientific competence through the development of a dissertation topic in the field of Business Information. An extension at the end of the PHd is possible within the limitations of the WissZeitVG if necessary.
- Teaching duties usually amounting to 4 hours per week (SWS)
- Independent processing of problems in business informatics, esp. of Operations Research
- Collaboration in publications
- Above-average academic degree, preferably in the fields of Business Information Systems/Operations Research, Computer science, mathematics, industrial engineering
- Good knowledge in the field of optimization and programming
- good English skills
