Professor Milad Mirbabaie addresses in a recent publication the usage of AI in organizations and the associated uncertainties and fears of job losses among employees. Together with his co-authors he revealed that it is crucial to manage employees' attitudes towards the deployment of an AI-based technology effectively and counteract possible resistance behaviour. This study indicates that the deployment of AI-based technologies does not differ from other IT, but that the change is perceived differently due to misguided expectations.
