The Miele & Cie. KG Germany employs around 600 engineers to process 3000 customer orders daily. The resulting customer orders are software-supported uniquely and assigned to technicians during the arrangement process. This is an improvement over the tours drawn manually by local dispatchers. In the context of this project with the help of suitable optimization procedures it was shown that the total distance daily which can be driven from the technicians to can be reduced over up to 17 %.
