The chair of business informationsystems - the Decision Support & Operations Research Lab - researches and teaches in the area of decision support systems for operational processes. Through many research and transfer projects, we specialize in supporting tasks in the transport, logistics, supply chain management and production and supply networks. Optimization and simulation models help to realize significant cost savings. Today many uncertainties can be taken into account and robust plans can be determined for dynamic situations.
